The Purpose of Main Street Home Ec

I often look at other women and wonder how they do it. How do they cook such delicious meals? How do they teach their children so well? How do they decorate to make you want to live at their house? How do they get so much out of their budget? How do they make home a wonderful place to be?

Well, I'd like to know. How do you do it? What are your tricks and secrets? How do you go about making home the happiest place on earth? (Just so you know, Disneyland isn't the only place that can claim the title.) I will share what I do/learn/know and hope you'll all contribute as well. I'd like this to be a discussion/sharing blog, so you can either leave comments or email me and I'll add your piece - and I promise to give you all the credit. :) Tell us about food and nutrition, interior design, childcare, sewing and textiles, finances and whatever else contributes to a home.
